Applewood Sports & Physiotherapy Ltd was a new Physiotherapy startup in November 2004. Initially, this clinic was housed within a medical facility together with 4 family doctors, a lab, and a dentist. The clinic rapidly expanded and grew out of its existing available space within months of opening. Subsequently, a search was done in the area to locate a larger space for the clinic.
Erin Mills Physiotherapy Clinic (PhysioNow Erin Mills) was established in 2007. The addition of the Erin Mills clinic provided a much-needed space for patients who lived further west in the City of Mississauga. The Erin Mills clinic is 1800 square feet and is well-equipped with space for rehabilitation and exercise.
Applewood Sports & Physiotherapy Ltd. (PhysioNow Applewood) once again grew out of its existing space in 2014. A new freestanding space was located within the Applewood Plaza 2 doors over from the original location. We were excited to open our newly expanded office at Applewood Plaza in unit 25 in September 2014! This allowed us to have a full rehabilitation unit with multiple exercise and treatment facilities at Applewood as well. Furthermore, a 2nd expansion allowed Applewood to double its space to 4000 square feet in Jan 2021. Now, we have a spacious office with plenty of private rooms for patient comfort and safety.
PhysioNow continued to grow after its first 2 big successes, opening clinics across the GTA. Still Physiotherapist owned and operated, the PhysioNow legacy has grown to include a grand total of 10 clinics with more to come! Our team has also grown to include not just Physiotherapists, but Massage Therapists, Manual Osteopaths, and Athletic Therapists as well. Now, spread across the GTA from Burlington to Etobicoke, our clinics offer the same expert care at every location. Every clinic is a full-service clinic with private rooms, free parking, exercise equipment, and clinicians who put you first!
Lorne Park Sports & Physiotherapy Ltd. (PhysioNow Lorne Park) opened on Sept 6, 2016! This is a beautiful clinic situated in the heart of Lorne Park in South Mississauga. It has access to Sports Injury Care, Motor Vehicle Accident Care, Workplace Injuries, and Sprains and Strains Care and Custom Knee Braces.
Long Branch Physiotherapy Ltd. (PhysioNow Etobicoke – Long Branch) opened in September of 2018. It is located on Lake Shore Blvd near Brown’s line in south Etobicoke. This is currently our easternmost clinic and is located very close to the Long Branch Go Station for easy access by public transport.
Our 5th location Hurontario-Eglinton PhysioNow Ltd. (PhysioNow – Hurontario-Eglinton) opened in September 2021! We have been asked by many of our patients to provide services further to the north of Mississauga, and now we can! We are located in the Mississauga Marketplace plaza at the corner of Hurontario and Eglinton Ave (in the Oceans plaza).
The 6th location is in a beautiful facility in South East Oakville, Maple Grove Area. Maple Grove PhysioNow Ltd will share space with True North Imaging and the Reproductive Care Center, a fertility clinic. In addition to our regular Physiotherapy and Massage Therapy services, we will provide advanced Pelvic Health services at this location. This clinic opened in May 2022.
PhysioNow Burloak is our 7th and westernmost location! This newly renovated clinic opened in September of 2022 and has so much to offer. We are located on Burloak Drive right off of the highway, so this location is perfect for anyone living in Oakville or Burlington.
PhysioNow Clarkson Village opened in July 2023 as our 8th location! Located right along Lakeshore Road across from Walden Circle Retirement Community, it provides quality care to the Village.
PhysioNow Creditview-Bristol followed very shortly, opening in September 2023 to make 9 locations! This clinic can be found in between the neighbourhoods of Streetsville and East Credit, just a 10-minute drive from the shopping centre Square One. Additionally, this location shares space with a medical clinic to address all your healthcare needs.
Finally, as of July 2024, our newest and 10th clinic is PhysioNow Oakville North! We are located in a lively plaza right along Trafalgar and Dundas St. This clinic allowed us to reach our Northern Oakville residents and its rapidly expanding neighbourhood
Patients at all of our offices receive high-quality care from practitioners that see the whole story. We put our patients first and involve them in the process of planning their care program. Additionally, we can help facilitate the navigation of an increasingly complex health care system. We can request all relevant diagnostic imaging and initiative communication with physicians and other providers to ensure holistic care.
Direct billing to most extended health care insurance providers is available at all of our offices. See Fees and Financing for more comprehensive information.
Additionally, we provide treatment and direct billing services for workplace injuries through the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB). Furthermore, PhysioNow and all its clinics are part of a Preferred Provider Network for Motor Vehicle Accident Rehabilitation.
Each clinic carries a supply of off-the-shelf bracing as well as aircast boots. Custom Knee Bracing can be ordered onsite with our knee brace specialists who will do complimentary fittings and adjustments as part of the service.
